Frequently asked questions
What exactly counts as a "development task"?
New features, bug fixes, API integrations, dashboards, automations — anything that fits in roughly 4 hours of focused work. Bigger requests are broken into multiple tasks so you can review in between. We align on scope and your tech stack during onboarding.
What’s the difference between Growth and Care?
Growth is for building new things — features, integrations, dashboards. Care keeps existing software healthy: bug fixes, security and dependency updates, and small changes, with priority on production issues. Care is available to existing Growth clients only — new clients start with Growth. Rule of thumb: if something new needs building, pick Growth; if something stopped working as it should, Care covers it. You can switch between the two each month — with no setup fee.
How quickly do you start on a task?
I pick up the first task in your queue within one business day. Average turnaround is 1–3 business days depending on complexity. Tasks larger than 4 hours are split up beforehand.
What does "revisions within scope" mean?
Adjustments within the original task description are always included — until you’re happy. Changes that extend the scope (adding new functionality) count as a new task in the queue.
What if I need less in a given month?
You have two options. Done building for now but still want maintenance and support? Switch to the Care plan (€1,500/month) — you keep your dedicated point of contact and the knowledge of your codebase stays warm, so you can scale back up to Growth later with no setup fee. Want to stop entirely? You can cancel any time, monthly. Note: after a full cancellation, restarting later carries a one-time €500 re-onboarding fee and depends on capacity. If full, you join the waitlist.
Who owns the code?
You do. Once the monthly invoice is paid, all intellectual property transfers to you. This is written into the terms. You have full access to every repository.
How does billing work?
Monthly, invoiced in advance, payable within 14 days by bank transfer. In your first month I offer a satisfaction guarantee: if I don’t deliver demonstrable value, you get your money back.
Do you work with my existing tech stack?
I work with modern web technologies: React, Next.js, Node.js, TypeScript, C#, Umbraco CMS, REST and GraphQL APIs. During intake we discuss your stack and confirm it’s a good fit.
I’m not in the Netherlands — can you still work with me?
Yes. The model is async-first, so timezone overlap of a few hours is plenty. Most communication happens through the shared board. I invoice in EUR.
